Today Jet Edge had the opportunity to open our doors to some of tomorrow's business leaders. We had a group of nine high school students in from the Wright County Technical Center's
CEO program, Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities.
These students are part of an exciting new program that takes them out of the classroom and into local businesses so they can learn what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. As part of the year-long class, each student starts up their own business and learns hands-on from their own successes and failures.
During their visit to Jet Edge, the students learned how waterjet technology is used to create many of the products they use every day, from food products to auto parts. They also had the opportunity to see a live water jet cutting demonstration in our test lab.
It's always fun to work with young people who are excited about their future. We hope they all start successful businesses right here in Wright County!
